I first ordered my actual size, US13. The shoe was labeled US13 and EU47, which was inconsistent. The shoe was actually sized per EU47, too small for me. I then ordered US14, trying to compensate for the sizing scale error. That shoe was labeled US14 and EU48.5, consistently inconsistent. And as I had hoped, the shoe was actually sized per EU48.5, and fit just right. So, if you are prompted to enter a US size, I recommend going one size up. This shoe is very comfortable but a little narrow. The tongue is integrated, similar to a slipper design. I like Puma's Disc lacing system at least as well as the similar BOA lacing system, though I don't yet know if it is as robust. You simply twist backwards to disengage the spool (for the benefit of one challenged reviewer). Note that these shoes don't provide great traction on hard flooring. I have not slipped, but basketball is out of the question. They are really made for turf. I don't golf, and I actually bought these for light hiking, and I think that they will serve well for that purpose.
